Maintenance, Support & Recovery

Technical Support for Websites, Applications & Critical Systems.

Keep your website or application running, resolve technical problems and prepare for unexpected failures. Wookye provides preventive maintenance, technical troubleshooting, emergency assistance and recovery services for existing websites, custom applications and cloud environments—whether we built them or not.

Every engagement starts with a review of your needs. Scope, availability and pricing are confirmed individually. Emergency assistance is subject to availability.

Beyond Launch

Your Technology Needs Support Long After It Goes Live.

Websites and business applications change over time. Dependencies need updates, integrations fail, performance issues appear and unexpected incidents can interrupt daily operations. Some businesses also inherit systems from a previous developer and need a reliable team to understand and maintain them.

Wookye helps businesses troubleshoot specific issues, maintain existing systems and plan more complex technical interventions. We work across frontend, backend, databases, APIs and infrastructure, selecting the right approach for each environment rather than forcing every project into one technology stack.

  • Existing websites and custom applications
  • One-time fixes or ongoing agreements
  • Assessment before taking over third-party systems
  • Tailored scopes instead of one-size-fits-all plans

What We Can Help With

Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Emergency Response & Recovery.

  1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Keep websites and applications in good technical condition with planned maintenance and targeted fixes.

Maintenance helps reduce avoidable problems and address defects before they create larger operational disruptions. We can work on individual tasks or define a recurring maintenance agreement for systems that require regular attention.

    Typical services
    • WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, including compatibility checks.
    • Bug fixes for Next.js, React, PHP, Laravel, Go and related applications.
    • Dependency reviews, security patches and framework updates.
    • Website speed investigations and application performance improvements.
    • API, integration and form troubleshooting.
    • Database query, connection and performance analysis.
    • Deployment support, release checks and rollback planning.
    • Scheduled technical health checks and preventive routines.

Engagement. One-time intervention or recurring maintenance. Major upgrades and architecture changes may require a separate project.

  2. Technical Support & Application Takeover

Get experienced help with technical issues or bring an existing project under new management.

Not every business needs a new website or application. Sometimes you need a team to diagnose a problem, understand a codebase or continue work started by another developer. We assess the existing environment, identify risks and recommend practical next steps before assuming ongoing responsibilities.

    Typical services
    • Troubleshooting errors across frontend, backend, APIs and databases.
    • DNS, SSL/TLS, server configuration and transactional email diagnostics.
    • Review of source code, dependencies, hosting, access and documentation.
    • Technical audits and application takeover assessments.
    • Stabilization of legacy projects and poorly documented systems.
    • Hosting and application migrations.
    • Ongoing maintenance, technical support and deployment assistance after onboarding.

Engagement. One-time troubleshooting or a paid technical assessment, followed by stabilization work and an optional ongoing agreement.

  3. Emergency Repair & Incident Response

Technical assistance when an outage, critical error or security incident disrupts your operations.

When a critical system fails, the first step is to understand the impact and identify safe actions. Wookye can assess an incident, investigate technical causes and work toward containment, restoration or repair within the agreed scope.

    Common situations
    • Websites or applications unexpectedly offline.
    • Critical errors after an update or deployment.
    • WordPress compromises, malicious redirects or site defacement.
    • Broken APIs, database connectivity and authentication failures.
    • DNS, HTTPS or hosting configuration incidents.
    • Server and infrastructure problems affecting availability.
    • Urgent recovery or rollback following a failed change.

How emergency requests work. We first check availability, severity, system access and technical feasibility. An initial diagnostic or containment phase may be required before the full repair scope can be established.

Important. Emergency assistance is subject to availability. We do not promise 24/7 coverage, a fixed response time or guaranteed restoration unless expressly agreed in a separate contract.

  4. Backup, Restoration & Disaster Recovery

Protect critical data, restore recoverable systems and prepare for more serious interruptions.

Backups are only useful when they are available, consistent and restorable. Recovery planning also needs to account for applications, databases, credentials, infrastructure and the order in which services must be restored.

    Typical services
    • Backup and recovery readiness assessments.
    • Backup configuration, retention and storage recommendations.
    • Verification and controlled testing of existing backups.
    • Website, application and database restoration from available recovery points.
    • Reconstruction of servers or cloud environments where feasible.
    • Recovery runbooks, dependency mapping and disaster recovery planning.
    • Recovery objectives and failover planning for more complex environments.
    • Post-incident technical review and improvement recommendations.

Engagement. One-time restoration, ongoing backup verification or a separately scoped disaster recovery project. Successful recovery depends on the condition and availability of data, backups, access and infrastructure.

Technical Coverage

Support Across the Web Stack.

Our work can span the interface customers see and the systems running behind it. The technologies and infrastructure we can support depend on the condition, access requirements and complexity of each project.

  • Websites & commerce

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify (within platform permissions).

  • Frontend & applications

    Next.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript.

  • Backend & integrations

PHP, Laravel, Go, REST APIs, external services.

  • Databases & storage

PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Cloudflare D1 and related services.

  • Cloud & hosting

AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Hostinger, HostGator and compatible environments.

  • Operations

DNS, SSL/TLS, CDN, WAF, deployment pipelines, logs, monitoring and backup processes.

Technical compatibility and support responsibilities are confirmed after assessment. Availability of a technology in this list does not imply unrestricted coverage of every configuration.

Flexible Engagements

Technical Help That Fits the Problem.

There are no fixed public packages for this service. We review your situation and prepare an individual quote based on technical scope, urgency, system complexity and support requirements.

  • On-Demand Technical Support

For a specific fix, investigation, update, migration task or accepted emergency request. You can engage Wookye for one technical issue without signing up for ongoing maintenance.

How it's scoped. A defined task when the issue is known, or an initial paid diagnosis when the cause is uncertain.

  • Ongoing Maintenance & Support

For businesses that need scheduled maintenance, continuing technical assistance, agreed monitoring or reserved support capacity. The agreement identifies covered systems, responsibilities, routine activities, contact channels and support hours.

How it's scoped. A custom recurring agreement, usually following a technical review and, where needed, initial stabilization.

  • Recovery & Specialized Technical Projects

For complex incidents, major restoration work, infrastructure reconstruction, legacy system stabilization or disaster recovery preparation. These engagements are divided into phases and deliverables appropriate to the technical uncertainty.

How it's scoped. A project-specific proposal. Discovery or containment may be a separately authorized first phase.

Our Process

Assessment First. Clear Scope Before Work.

  1. 1

    Tell Us What's Happening

Describe the affected website or application, the issue, when it started, its business impact and any recent changes. For urgent incidents, indicate whether the service is completely unavailable, data may be at risk or a security compromise is suspected.

  2. 2

    We Review the Environment

We assess the request, confirm available capacity and identify the access or diagnostic information needed. Depending on complexity, we may recommend a paid technical assessment before we can define a reliable solution.

  3. 3

    We Confirm the Scope

You'll receive a proposed approach, authorization requirements and an individual quote. If the situation is uncertain, we may split the work into diagnostic, stabilization and implementation phases.

  4. 4

    We Perform the Authorized Work

Our team investigates, maintains, repairs or restores the systems included in the agreed scope. Changes are tested and communicated as appropriate for the environment.

  5. 5

We Report Findings & Next Steps

We summarize what was investigated or changed, the current status, remaining risks and recommended follow-up actions. Ongoing support is optional.

For a live security incident, containment and evidence preservation may take priority over normal deployment or maintenance workflows.

Real-World Situations

From a Broken Website to an Unmaintained Application.

  • A hacked WordPress website.

We assess the incident, identify the affected components and determine a safe remediation or restoration path, subject to available access and recovery sources.

  • A custom application with repeated errors.

We investigate logs, code, infrastructure, integrations and database dependencies to identify the fault and propose corrective work.

  • A project left behind by its original developer.

We perform a takeover assessment, document risks and recommend stabilization before assuming ongoing maintenance.

  • A failed deployment or update.

We investigate the change, available rollback options and required fixes to restore functionality when feasible.

  • An unreliable backup process.

We review the current recovery options, recommend changes and can help implement and test a more dependable restoration process.

  • A cloud environment with no recovery plan.

We assess critical services, dependencies and possible recovery objectives, then propose a dedicated disaster recovery project.

Need Hosting Instead?

Our Hosting & Care plan is designed for eligible websites that need managed hosting, SSL, backups, limited preventive updates, basic monitoring and a support channel as described in the agreement.

Maintenance, troubleshooting, security incident response and complex restoration are separate specialist services. Hosting & Care does not automatically include unlimited technical support, emergency response or disaster recovery. You can request technical support without purchasing hosting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you support websites or applications built by another company?

Yes, we can assess existing websites and applications, including projects developed by third parties. Depending on the condition of the code and infrastructure, a technical assessment or stabilization phase may be required before we accept ongoing responsibilities.

Can I hire Wookye for just one problem?

Yes. On-demand technical support is available for individual issues, subject to review and availability. You do not need a recurring maintenance agreement to request a one-time fix.

Do you offer emergency support 24/7?

We offer emergency assistance subject to team availability. We do not advertise general 24/7 coverage or guaranteed response times. Any reserved coverage or response objectives must be agreed separately and supported operationally.

Can you restore my website or database after a failure?

We can evaluate available backups, recovery points and infrastructure, then propose an appropriate recovery process. Restoration is not always possible, especially when usable data or backup sources are unavailable.

Do you handle WordPress as well as custom applications?

Yes. Our technical work can include WordPress and WooCommerce alongside custom frontend, backend, API and database environments. Coverage is confirmed according to the actual system.

Do you provide a fixed price or published monthly plan?

No. We prepare custom quotes because each system has different technologies, risks, support requirements and recovery needs. When the problem cannot be scoped without investigation, we may first propose a paid diagnostic assessment.

What is included in a recurring maintenance agreement?

Each agreement specifies the systems covered, preventive routines, support coverage, responsibilities and any agreed monitoring or support capacity. New features, major upgrades and work outside the contracted scope are quoted separately.

Do you provide security incident investigation and forensic reports?

We can investigate, contain and remediate technical incidents within our agreed capabilities. Formal digital forensics, regulatory advice and legal incident response may require independent specialists and are not automatically included.

How do I start an application takeover?

Tell us what the application does, where it is hosted, which technologies it uses and what problems you are facing. We will review the information and propose a technical assessment and any next steps.
