Website development for Powerlist 100, Bantumen’s annual award recognizing the 100 most influential Black personalities of the Lusophone world, with its 2026 edition ceremony held in Rio de Janeiro. Working from the visual identity and design direction provided by the client, our role was the full technical implementation of the platform on WordPress with Elementor.

The site structures the award’s entire ecosystem: the current edition with the honorees list, popular voting, technical jury section, photo galleries, an archive of previous editions (2021-2025), the awards ceremony (Premiação), sponsor placement, and built-in translation for international audiences — all wrapped in the elegant black-and-gold editorial aesthetic defined by the Bantumen team.

Delivering the client’s vision to the letter required going beyond standard theme capabilities: the project included custom plugin development and extensive CSS/JavaScript customization to implement the features and layout precisely as designed.

As an annual award, the platform is a recurring engagement: we provide yearly maintenance and updates, preparing the site for each new edition — refreshed content, new honorees, voting cycles, and archive updates.

Deliverables: full WordPress/Elementor development from client-provided design, custom plugin development, CSS/JavaScript theme customization, and yearly maintenance and updates for each new edition.
